From family home to the city and eventually to planet Earth: our orchestration “Partners for generations to come” for energy systems manufacturer Viessmann’s 2019 ISH exhibition stand focuses on intelligent solutions and cooperative team work.

At the core of our staging is an evolution of the trade fair format that breaks free from the traditional product presentation. The stand’s main axis is formed by a large, green Central Park: the Partnership Lane. Garden cafés, food trucks, as well as hands-on workshops offer ample opportunities for mutual exchange and networking. This results in a notably high quality of stay and a welcoming atmosphere – a testament to Viessmann’s close and respectful ties to their partners.

The partnership area itself is framed by six walk-in Living Spaces reflecting those of actual end customers. Within the Living Spaces, Viessmann experts present holistic energy solutions ranging from fuel cells of modernized period buildings to heating systems and power supply for whole residential quarters. Every Space combines large-scale LED screens with a thematically appropriate interior design, resulting in a didactic, digital-analogue communication space. Specialised tradesmen literally enter into diverse living scenarios and experience Viessmann systems from a consumer’s perspective.

The stand’s educational linchpin is the adjacent Forum which offers more than 60 seats. In addition to various talk formats, an innovative augmented reality show consolidates the stand’s core messages. On the basis of a modelled city scape – filmed by a robotic arm and enhanced digitally by informative layers on an LED wall – a Viessman expert takes the audience on a journey through the urban space. The show’s scope traces the stand’s conceptual arc across the privacy of one’s home, the neighbourhood, and finally the city. Eventually, the show turns toward the preservation of our planet as a joint task for Viessmann and tradesmen.

Thus emerged a holistic staging tailor-made for a professional audience that presents sustainable energy solutions – and that simultaneously expands on the B2B trade fair concept by introducing lasting visitor moments.
