CUSTOMER JOURNEY: FOR VIESSMANN AT ISH 2017, ATELIER MARKGRAPH CREATES A HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE OF THE OPPORTUNITIES DIGITALISATION OFFERS FOR CUSTOMER RETENTION
Frankfurt am Main, 23 March 2017 – Digitalisation poses big challenges for the heating technology industry. For companies that wish to be fit for the future, digital competence is now as indispensable as traditional heating technology expertise. After 100 years in business, Viessmann demonstrates at ISH 2017 how its comprehensive portfolio of digital products and online services makes life easier every day for customers and heating professionals alike. The booth motto: ’Into a New Century’.
Customer Journey makes Digital Flow transparent
Atelier Markgraph interprets this theme with a spatial production that literally points the way forward. Five media-powered Arrow Stations trace the entire customer journey that heating professionals undertake with their customers. Surrounded by a comprehensive 360° product presentation, this ‘built’ journey provides the physical and thematic centrepiece for the Viessmann booth.
At the Arrow Stations, trade visitors experience how digital tools from Viessmann can make customer relationships even more positive and efficient throughout the entire project flow. Each Arrow displays the specific advantages of its digital solutions ‘in a nutshell’ on large LED panels. Digital workbenches invite visitors to explore topics further in dialogue with Viessmann experts. Numerous Feedback Stations and opportunities for interaction ensure that the company’s market partners can bring their own experience to the table too.
Forum and Workshop Area for a Dialogue between Equals
In the central Forum, a compact 10-minute live presentation shows visitors how digital services support them in their daily work and enable new business models. With the aid of Augmented Reality, the abstract theme of digitalisation is presented in a figurative and approachable way. To underscore how serious Viessmann is about working with customers on the digital future, company CDO Maximilian Viessmann attends the Forum every day to respond personally to questions from heating technology fitters.
On a platform above the Forum, the Open Workshops have a special feature: visitors pick the topics themselves. Working in small groups and supported by the efficient ‘Design Thinking’ method, they develop fresh solutions for any issues they may have in record time. The workshops are recorded via webcam and streamed live to the web.
In a Gallery above the product presentation area, visitors can travel through ‘100+ Years of Viessmann’. After a look at the company’s early years, a succession of historical and current innovations demonstrate how Viessmann has always been ahead of its time. A medial glimpse into the future paints a possible scenario for the future of heating technology.
At ISH 2017, the walk-round Customer Journey provides an impressive hands-on experience of a strategic future theme. The Viessmann booth ’Into a New Century’ takes complex topics that pose new challenges for trade visitors – and transforms them into an emotionally motivating overall experience.
